What is sold as a luxury outdoor kitchen covers a very wide price range — and looks remarkably similar in the photographs. ‘High quality’ appears in almost every catalogue, with ‘exclusive’ and ‘premium’ beside it. The words themselves say nothing.
It becomes interesting only when you ask how the difference is meant to be recognised. Seven points that can be checked on the object itself — with us as with any other manufacturer.
Do not ask whether the cabinet body is made of aluminium, but from which alloy and in what thickness. A highly corrosion-resistant alloy of the kind used in shipbuilding behaves differently outdoors from an arbitrary profile.
In the PureAlu cabinet body it is 8 mm precision plates in marine-grade aluminium. Anyone who cannot give a figure in answer usually has good reason not to have one to hand.
Pre-treatment comes before powder coating. Built up as a nano-ceramic layer, it preserves the material and ensures that the coating adheres lastingly. The Off-Shore powder coating itself is designed for demanding outdoor use.
For the cabinet body the rule is: concealed connections, only those penetrations the engineering requires. Every additional hole is a place where moisture can take hold.
Heavy doors need hinges made for the job — ours are developed in-house from aluminium and stainless steel and engineered for low maintenance. Drawers need water routing rather than a promise of tightness; an integrated drainage system carries moisture deliberately to the outside.
The same principle applies to the materials around them: natural stone as a grown, individual piece, and solid oak with five coats of marine varnish rather than a single stain.
Many suppliers call configuration from standard modules ‘bespoke’. The difference shows at the edges: does the kitchen fit into an unusual corner? Will an appliance you have chosen yourself be integrated? Can a section width be chosen freely?

At the upper end of the market, three very different things share the same description. First, kitchens whose price comes from the appliances built into them — the cabinet body beneath is often a coated standard profile. Second, configurations assembled from modules and lifted with special colours and natural stone. Third, installations where the construction itself is the effort.
Only in the third case is the difference still visible after ten years. The first two age as their components do: the appliance can eventually be replaced, the cabinet body underneath cannot.
The seven points above are therefore not a list of features but a sequence of checks. It works against us as well: ask for the alloy, the material thickness and the pre-treatment, and if no figure comes back, you already have your answer.
Every kitchen receives its own manufactory number, recording origin, production steps and quality control. It is not decoration, but the record that keeps an individual piece traceable.

Substance cannot be seen. It can only be evidenced — by a figure, a number and a commitment that holds for decades. Anyone who can do that does not need to claim it.
